Your Way Disability SA (YWDSA) began its journey in 2020, founded on the shared vision of Paul - Managing Director and Gemma – Lead Behaviour Practitioner. Driven by a passion for making a difference in the disability sector, they set out to create an organisation that prioritizes quality service and participant-focused care at the heart of everything. Paul brought years of experience as an NDIS registered provider, having served as a senior manager in the NDIS, along with 12 years in education as a senior leader and child protection officer. Gemma, as the Clinical Lead Practitioner at YWDSA, leads a talented team of Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners (PBSPs). She began her career as a social worker and learning disabilities nurse before advancing to senior roles within the NDIS. Starting in a modest office in Glenelg, YWDSA quickly built a reputation for delivering exceptional community access support and person-centered services. As the organisation grew, we relocated to Morphett Vale, establishing a larger, purpose-designed space to better meet the needs of our participants and their families.
At Your Way Disability SA, we provide flexible funding options to ensure our services, including community access support, are accessible to everyone who needs them. As an NDIS-registered provider, we can deliver supports funded through NDIS plans, whether they are agency-managed, plan-managed, or self-managed. Additionally, we accept funding from insurance claims, Return to Work SA, and fee-for-service direct payments for those who prefer to self-fund their support. Our team is here to discuss your funding options and guide you through the process, ensuring you receive the right support, including Positive Behaviour Support, in a way that suits your circumstances.
Since our inception, YWDSA has experienced steady and purposeful growth. As a proud NDIS registered provider, we offer a variety of services, including community access support, designed to help individuals achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life. Every decision we make is guided by the principle of putting participants and their families first. This commitment has fostered strong, trusting relationships within the community and ensures we provide the highest standards of support, including Positive Behaviour Support.
We believe that our team is our greatest asset, especially as an NDIS registered provider focused on community access support. Recruitment plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our services, which is why we strive to hire the best in the industry—dedicated, skilled professionals who share our values and commitment to making a positive impact. We don’t just recruit talent; we support our teams with ongoing development and training, including Positive Behaviour Support, fostering a culture where staff feel valued and equipped to deliver exceptional care.
As we continue to grow, our focus remains on staying true to our values: quality, person-centered care, and a commitment to the well-being of every participant we serve. At YWDSA, as an NDIS registered provider, we’re not just providing community access support services; we’re building a community where everyone is supported to thrive through Positive Behaviour Support, every day.
